Aztec Anthropomorphic Amazons
Some time after the original publication of Aztec Anthropomorphic Amazons, I created new cover artwork for a reprint done by Purrsia Press. The cover was executed in pen and ink with watercolors and turned out quite nicely. The two characters in the foreground are Boo and Bastis, a pair of guards from the comic who also starred in a back-up story.
I recently purchased a copy of this comic from Ebay the moment I discovered it and I really liked it, so I was wondering: Will there ever be more Aztec Anthropomorphic Amazons comics or will it be a one-off thing?
Probably not. I wrote it as a one-off. I did an earlier two-page story with the Aztec Amazons titled “The Touch” with Shon Howell which ran in a raunchy li’l fanzine published by Will Fitts called FUZZY NIPS; but apart from that and the back-up story with Boo and Bastis, there have been no other stories with them. Ginger’s adventures with the CAT-MEN from MARS owes a good deal to AZTEC AMAZONS, though, (as well as to BUCK ROGERS and the Martian Tiger-Men).
But I did a good deal of furry short stories around that time which were published in the anthologies FURRLOUGH and GENUS from Antarctic Press and Radio Comix. You can find some of theses back issues for sale on the Radio Comix website
