If this is a prequel to the other one, shouldn’t Earth and Mars be in communication and have friendly relations in the other one? Realistically, with all the misunderstandings now broken down, there would be trade and immigration between the two. You can be sure that humans would be downright enthusiastic to coax aliens to move to Earth and be their friends and neighbors if they looked like THIS.
“Sky Terror of Weng Hu” takes place very shortly after “Cat-Men from Mars”. Trade and immigration between the two planets likely will be occurring, but at this point it’s still in the negotiating stages. I’d like to have Lt. M’rel show up eventually attached to a Martian Embassy, perhaps in Chicago, and wearing a zoot suit. “As you see, I’ve acquired some of your Native Earth garb!” But first I need to finish re-posting the old pages that got lost when WordPress ate my archives; and then I need to finish “Danger Cay”. At the rate I’ve been going, this will take a while.
