DANGER CAY: Chapter 107 — Illuminating Introduction
I don’t know if Thomas Edison really had a granddaughter named Peaches; probably not, but considering how many liberties I’ve taken with Tesla’s history, he’s getting off easy.
Long-time readers may recall that one of the changes I’ve made to this alternate history, in addition to making Charles Lindbergh the first man on the Moon, having Mars inhabited by cat-men, and giving Nikola Tesla an equally brilliant son, is that in this timeline, Tesla was more successful in developing and promoting his inventions. Following that, it only made sense to assume that his arch-enemy, Edison, wasn’t. Did Tesla really ruin Edison in this universe? Peaches thinks so. But then, Peaches is something of a psycho-puppy.
The “H” on Peaches’ sweater doesn’t stand for “Harvard”, by the way. I decided that she and Hannibal went to Huxley College. I would have sent Timmy Li (last seen in SKY TERROR OF WENG HU) to Huxley as well, but I didn’t think of it at the time.
